Company ProfileAs an established artist Heather Johnson has owned and operated her freelance art business since 1997( The Paint Studio) Being an accomplished portrait and landscape artist, gives her the ability to capture the spirit and character of her subjects and makes her work outstanding. She is one of the few artist with the ability turn a granite stone into art, her Portraits and paintings speak for themselves. She attended art school in New York at Pratt Institute one of the leading art schools in the United States, although she has always had natural talent and has been doing portraits and paintings since the age of 16, taking the various classes such as figure drawing with models, mechanical drawing, drafting, light and color design, sculpture and three dimensional design has honed her skills as an artist and given her the edge when it comes to design and perspective drawings for custom monuments or paintings. She has been doing Portraits, Murals and Designs for many clients over the past 17 years. This has allowed her to become very successful in monument etching as well, applying her perspective drawing and design abilities to meld many photos into a seamless landscape, or to capture a personality in a portrait.
