Information for monument companies.

I have been painting and doing portraits since 1989, having had previous artist experience gives me a definite edge on producing high quality etchings, whether it is landscapes or a portrait.

At the moment I own my own business and work independently for various monument companies in four states and would like expand and offer my services to other monument companies.

I will come to you and do the Etching

This means a minimal waiting time for you and your customers depending on my schedule. This process allows you a quicker turnout rate. Most jobs can be done in one day and payment is expected upon completion.

No complicated tax forms, MISC 1099 required for more than $600.00 work in a year, and a tax exempt form needs to be signed as well stating that the monuments are resale.

I have my own tools needed to do the etching, all that is required is the monument that is to be worked on be dry and room temperature, and laid flat around waist height approx 38 '', under good light with an electric outlet close by. (If the monument cannot be raised to waist height additional charges may apply)

I can etch stones for your display to let the customers see what can be done. (Chances are if they see a custom monument they'll want one)

I am currently working on a brochure with various scenes and ideas to show monument companies and their customers what can be done with hand etching, and to give them more of a variety of scenes to choose from, if they do not want to do a custom stone. ( I suggest doing a custom stone, the cost is about the same as a standard scene, and it's one of a kind.)

Most of the companies that I have started etching for have tripled their sales of black granite because of the high demand for custom etching, (this means additional profit for your business)

I can also etch on black granite benches, sculpted black granite monuments, or if your customer wants a gray monument, a black granite tile (usually 12x12) can be inset into the stone. I can also etch on vases, such as verses, emblems, crosses, flowers, portraits etc... I also can do etched lettering in any font.
